Nutrition of Love- 5th June 2011

June and Fong Ling were already in April's kitchen Sunday morning slicing away on the chopping board preparing the evening meal for the kids. April of course were there overlooking and guiding the 'chefs'. They dished up onion and carrot soup with bite size meatballs and then conjured up another dish of stir fried chickpeas and sliced carrots with diced ham.

Zaitun prepared white rice mixed with a small amount of brown rice to gently usher the kids toward brown rice which is a much better grain for autistic children. We had earlier suggested to Jacie to incorporate the brown variety because it is gluten-free. Here, Elize and Fong Ling heap generous potions of ham and chickpea on plates of rice before topping it with onion soup.
